Frame & Axles rated for 40K lb load if it had manual transmission. This truck is the most dependable slip seat ( constant change of drivers) in market. Mitsu has built ‘rugged ‘ thru out this truck, over sized wheels & brakes greatly extend the life and give much better braking, resulting in lower cost operation. We bought truck in Jan 2011, have put on 209,000 miles with no component failures, oil & filter changes @ 4000-5000 miles, we did our first brake job at 260,000 miles
Inside our Lockable add-on Crew cab, we installed 95 gal diesel tank with 12 V pump, and large tool drawer, space to carry added personnel & tools. ramps under deck for loading machines on flat bed, Goose Neck ball upgraded to 3″ for a 33% increase capacity to 40,000Lb loads.
Trailer – PJ Hurricane Dump, 20K Cap, 2 axle, Elect Brakes, We used for demo projects, easier to load & holds lots more than Dump Trucks. Main Scissor lift cylinder removed & repacked Nov ’23, We added the Kohler 25 HP gas engine to run the hydraulic lift & boy does it lift!!1So much better than battery powered lift. We also added 2 pusher cylinders to get the box up off the frame ( 15 inch lift ) making much easier for scissor lift. rewired with LED lights.
