I have a 2002 Chevy Prizm which is for all facts and purposes a toyota corolla. It’s just rebranded as a chevy. It even comes up on the diagnostic as a toyota corolla! How cool.
Everything works. It has A/C, power locks, manual windows. Just replaced the handles so they are all shiny and new. New headliner, also. There is some scuffs here and there on the interior but nothing is cracked.
All 5 tires are new!
It is great as a daily driver and a beginner car. It’ll take whatever crap you throw at it while you’re still learning how to drive.
I have a different car now so I have to say goodbye to my first car.
However, it does have an high oil consumption problem. I have verified it is not leaking out of or into anything into the engine, it is simply old and thus burning it as if it got personally offended by it.
No matter how a toyota corolla is badged, it WILL get you places and it WILL make sure you only need to fill up the gas every 2 weeks. Seriously, I had a heavy work commute every day and this thing said “I take a sip of gas here and there…”
Please make sure you text only. If you’re looking to flip this car, get lost.
Thank you for reading.
