Solara convertible 2007

I’m calling this a mechanic special only because it needs something and I’m ready for a new car. I’ll explain below.

Blue 2007 Solara 2-door SE convertible, 6 cyl 3.3 engine, 126k miles
I love this car and I’ve taken very good care of it.

The body isn’t perfect, but not bad – still shiny.
Fabric seats don’t get hot in the sun.
Transmission shifts smoothly.

Oil changes every 3-4k miles with quality synthetic, filter & air filter
Made timely repairs including:
CV Axle & tie rod
Valve cover gasket, new Denso coils & NGK plugs, PCV
Had throttle body and injectors cleaned
Changed 2 of 4 Oxygen sensors

Now, lately while the car does idle smoothly for an extended period, it “sometimes” starts running rough and threatens to stall or does stall. I’m not a mechanic, but it could be something as simple as a clogged fuel filter or fuel pump. It’s not burning much oil or coolant. I have lowered the price by $500 for the condition.

This is a popular car and if you can get it running well, it has great resale or if you just want to own it this is a very reasonable price.

Any questions, I’m happy to reply.
