The exhibition will cover over a million square feet at the Miami Beach Convention Center\, bringing with it hundreds of new cars\, trucks\, SUVs\, electric vehicles and crossovers. The show will also offer a number of “Ride and Drives\,” where attendees can strap into their favorite car and take it for a spin. \nThe show began in 1971 and is sponsored by the South Florida Automobile Dealers Association. Over the show’s 50 years\, it has raised over $7 million for local charities\, most recently raising $400\,000 for longtime partner the Ronald McDonald House. \nMiami International Auto Show Presenters\nThe Miami International Auto Show traditionally draws around 300\,000 attendees over its run\, as well as automakers\, classic car clubs and automobile enthusiasts from around the world. This year’s exhibitors include Acura\, Alfa Romeo\, Cadillac\, Chevrolet\, Chrysler\, Dodge\, Fiat\, Genesis\, Honda\, Hyundai\, Jeep\, Kia\, Lexus\, Nissan\, Ram\, Subaru\, Toyota and Volkswagon. \nThings to Do: From Classic Rides to Test Drives\nIn addition to perusing the new offerings from nearly 200 dealers across South Florida\, you’ll be able to participate in a number of interactive experiences and see some classic cars that look straight out of a museum. Miami Beach has other city lots and garages nearby; you can see a full convention center parking map before you go. \nCOVID-19 Protocols\nAs with any large event\, the Miami International Auto Show’s COVID-19 edition will look a little bit different. First\, the show will have no physical box office\, as all ticketing will be done online. Visitors will also find plexiglass dividers at all ticket-scanning stations and customer service centers. \nExhibitor booths and traffic flow will be spaced to encourage social distancing. DESCRIPTION:MIAMI\, Fla. – NASCAR announced its 2022 Cup Series schedule today\, and after a two-year hiatus\, Homestead-Miami Speedway will again be a major player in the premier series’ intense 10-race playoffs slate. \nThe colorful\, 1.5-mile venue’s Dixie Vodka 400 will serve as the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs’ second race in the Round of 8 on Sunday\, Oct. 23\, 2022. It marks a return to playoffs racing for Homestead-Miami Speedway\, which hosted the NASCAR Cup Series championship finale from 2002-2019. In addition\, the South Florida ribbon of asphalt was the next to last race on Cup Series schedules in 1999 and 2000\, and third from last in 2001. \n“We can’t wait for October of 2022\, taking us back to our storied past in the NASCAR Cup Series\,” said Homestead-Miami Speedway President Al Garcia.  “From our very first Cup Series race here in 1999 up until two years ago\, we hosted the premier series in the fall and we are thrilled to have that tradition rekindled. In 18 of the last 20 years\, we crowned a champion at Homestead-Miami Speedway\, so it’s great to be back in the title mix. We are excited to welcome fans back to our community during the fall\, which is so nice in South Florida. We can’t wait for their return\, and we will have the greatest 1.5-mile venue ready for them.” \nThe 2020 Dixie Vodka 400 was moved to a March weekend date\, but was then pushed to June because of the Covid-19 pandemic in which Homestead-Miami Speedway served as the first venue to have guests back to the track.
