Times are looking up for automakers. Q2 year-over-year numbers for Q2 were up for every major manufacturer save one — Volkswagen. Ford, GM, Toyota, KIA/Hyundai, Nissan, BMW, Mazda, Subaru among others all experienced unit sales growth for Q2 2023.
NOTE: Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and JLR are slated to report second-quarter results later in July. Tesla has reported 446,140 deliveries in Q2. Model S/X – 19,225 Model 3/Y – 446,915. Lucid recorder 700 units and Rivian booked 500.
