Built from 2007 to 2008, the 997.1 generation of GT3 RS saw a run of roughly 1,100 cars for the world and only 410 were destined for the States—making it one of the rarest RS models produced. With inspiration pulled directly from its non-street legal, Cup car sibling, the 997.1 GT3 RS is incredibly analog and is powered by Dr. Hans Mezger’s, 3.6L naturally aspirated flat-6 motor and is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox with a hydraulic steering rack.
Photographed here, our 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS has gone only 11k miles since its initial California delivery in May of 2007. Finished in its original “Reverse Pumpkin” finish (1 of only 96 in the States) over a full, Black leather interior, this pampered RS has been routinely serviced and is fitted with a Sharkwerks exhaust & tune and is accompanied by a clean DME report with no over-revs.
