Up for sale is my 1971 Challenger convertible that I just completed the restoration. It has a fully rebuilt ’69 340. It never goes over 170 degrees. I also converted it to a TKO600 5 speed. It has been converted to a shaker car as you can see. The rear is a new Suregrip “489”case with 3:73 gears and new axles. TTI headers and TTI exhaust. I restored the car the way I wanted so please don’t tell me this or that isn’t original.
All of the shaker components are new as is the hood and fenders. I also installed the US Car Tool inner fender braces. The lower quarters have been replaced as well as the floor. The rear deck and fenders are new. The gaps are perfect on this car. It has custom billet hood hinges. The paint is only a year old and was painted professionally in the modern plum crazy paint. It’s looks amazing. There is not a spec of rust on the car. The K Member was powder coated and I put gussets in for strength. New custom P/S box. It’s also has sub frame connectors. The convertible top goes up and down flawlessly and has new convertible cylinders and pump. The brakes are perfect and stop the car on a dime.
It has a Borgeson power steering bracket, and I’ve replaced the alternator brackets with a billet unit. All to clean up the engine bay plus they make it very easy to adjust over the original brackets. I relocated the battery to the trunk for neatness. Installed is a new Bouchillon Performance Engineering A/C system. It is all plumed and ready to go. It just needs to be evacuated and charged.
In its restoration everything has been replaced. New interior, dash, suspension. It has power windows. If it couldn’t be replaced with new, then it was refurbished. Please ask if you have questions there is way more to this car than a couple of paragraphs.
