1987 Volvo 240 DL.
One owner. Garage kept since new. In excellent condition for its age. No dents or rust. The original paint and interior look new.
Two issues. 1) This was my Mom’s car and she used it very little. If she drove 2000 miles per year that would be a lot for her. Problem is that the odometer stopped working years ago at 27000 miles so I have no way to prove that it’s a very low mileage car but it is.
2) If you don’t drive the car every couple days the transmission will leak. We took it to a transmission shop I trust and they told my mom that the problem is simple but because of labor she might as well have the transmission overhauled to fix it, or just drive the car at least every couple days. She elected to go with the latter. Otherwise, she kept up with maintenance with professional shops and the car doesn’t need anything.
