1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce

I am selling my 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. I bought the car back in 2008, and my idea at the time was to keep this car forever! I even acquired a spare engine and transmission, just in case. The car has been kept in my garage when not in use. I used it at least once a week (on Sundays) for drives and, every couple of months, took trips to the Keys or Marco Island with my wife. I’ve always changed the oil every 3,000 miles and have taken the car for any repairs or maintenance to an Italian Spider mechanic shop in North Miami. I really wanted to keep the car, but unfortunately, life threw me a curveball, and I was diagnosed with a condition that makes it hard for me to maintain this beauty as it deserves. The car has only 55,037 original miles.

For the past couple of months, I’ve been unable to start it, and now it doesn’t turn on. My mechanic confirmed that the engine is fine and the fuel pump is good, but one of the filters in the back might be blocked, preventing fuel from reaching the engine. There’s also a dent on the driver’s side door, which can be easily fixed (I was quoted $500.00, including paint).

I am asking $9000 OBO for the car, including the spare engine, transmission, and a bunch of spare items, books, covers, etc. I want to sell the car to someone who is serious about enjoying this vehicle. The reason I haven’t posted the car on AutoTrader or any such, is that people often want to buy it to sell for parts, which is not my interest. I prefer it go to someone who seriously wants to drive and enjoy this classic Italian beauty that I can no longer enjoy. It’s time for someone else to enjoy it and work to keep it up and running. This car running and maintained, would easily sell upwards of $17K! I have more pictures, if needed.

Serious Buyers Only!
