CELTIC RESTO-MODS are Land Rover builders of Snowdonia Wales in the UK. They give a project names to all of the vehicles that are resurrected in there shop, this one is known as Argraig means ‘on the rock’ in Welsh and we think it is the perfect name for this feisty little beast.
Argraig is a 1997 Defender and has spent all his life in the hills of North Wales. If he was a dog, he would be a bull terrier – a trusty, go anywhere companion that would never let you down.
All the Driveline mechanicals and under-carriage have been stripped, checked, serviced or if need be, replaced including all the bushings and suspension and brake parts with top quality Britpart and Bearmach parts. The body was then stripped down to the rolling chassis which was checked, cleaned and rust treated prior to going for paint.
This was a very well preserved example to begin with and retained the original doors and quarters. All the body components were then reassembled after painting stock Nardo Grey. The interior boasts a full Exmoor carpet set with Bespoke headliner and Alcantara dash top.
CELTIC RESTOMODS have since put the finishing touches to Argraig to bring her right up to date with a bespoke interior, hand crafted by an ex-Bentley
craftsman with over 40 years experience. The lighting is complete LED and includes additional LED running lights in the Spectre style skeletal bumper.
Prior to export Argraig was subject to a full nut and bolt check, service, and road test through the mountains of North Wales, to ensure the new owner will have the optimum ownership experience. Argraig will come with a clean Pennsylvania Title, All legal US and Customs documents’ are done, title-able in all states.
