This is a RWD, 4.0L V8 1998 Jaguar XK8. Selling on behalf of parents who are no longer using the car. (not original owner)
Original engine runs strong and without issues. 89,xxx miles. I have original paperwork and service records all the way from purchase date and receipts of maintenance.
Transmission recently rebuilt less than 4,000 miles ago. Mechanically, this thing has been bulletproof since.
Comes with Valvetronic exhaust and remote (you can open/close valve to make it quiet or enjoy the V8 sound.)
A few thousand have gone into lightly restoring the car (replacing center wheel caps, rear light, oil changes, shock replacements, etc.) and it justifies the price, especially considering preventative maintenance for common XK8 issues has been completed (thermostat housing, chain tensioner)
New Alpine Speakers and Bluetooth radio installed, with receipts.
Car has normal 25 year old wear and tear you might expect. Mechanically, all is sound.
A good car for a good driver. Asking $8,500 OBO.
