The time has come to list my truck to find its next home. The price is FIRM @ $8500 for the time being as I am using it every day. I’ve owned it for close to 3 years and have enjoyed plenty. It is in rough shape inside and out but is rock solid. It is a clean title.
This truck is not going to win any car show prizes and is not really one to take a date in. It is more of a work truck or project maybe if you are interested in making it more aesthetically pleasing.
It’s a 2000 24V Cummins 4WD with 47RE transmission. Extended Cab and 8′ bed.
I will be deleting the muffler in the coming weeks, if you want this truck with a muffler better hurry.
Do I drive the truck every day? Yes, I do.
Do miles go up every day? Yes, they do.
Are there any problems with the truck? Yes, there is, but reliability and power are not any of them.
The AC works, the vacuum lines that route the air do not though.
Paint is no good, 1 major dent on body.
Horn does not work.
Dashboard and Bezel are disintegrated, replacement cover in use.
Clearence lamps on the cab do not work.
License plate lights not working.
Fog lamps do not work, headlights are fine.
Tires do not match but are in good condition.
Seat are ripped and carpet could use a cleaning.
All is not bad! In my time with the truck:
Front axle and suspension rebuilt.
New alternator
2 batteries replaced in the last 2 years.
Harmonic Balancer replaced with new belt.
New water pump
Tow mirrors installed.
Flashpaq 3842 chip installed.
Cool air intake installed.
New crankshaft position sensor installed.
New clockspring installed.
New rear bumper included but not installed.
Headliner redone, then painted black.
5% window tints in decent shape
3 toolboxes seen in the pictures installed, and they will be included with the truck purchase.
ABS module and pump repaired.
Brake lines replaced.
Pioneer speakers installed.
Rotella T6 oil and Mopar filter every 5k miles.
This might not be the right truck for everyone. It was great for me. Only cash will be accepted, and title transfer will be done at time of sale at tag agency. No open title, sorry.
