2002 Saab 9-3 Convertible, was just repainted. Have to let her go. Custom suspension, brakes, intercooler, exhaust. Stage 1 tuning. NEVER beaten on. Almost 300HP. Adult owned. This car was built by Saab Master Tech. in Boonton NJ. I had it transported down here when I moved. Engine was reconditioned at 83K. Over 15K investment. Needs a few TLC items. A/C works. No tire kickers, I am losing a TON of money! NO check engine warnings..
I have a folder that I can share, its over an
inch thick, with receipts and records from day 1.
At 83K I installed a DRIVETRAIN from a
wreck. With 68K. The old engine suffered from
excessive wear due to NON-maintenance and
sludge. (Notorious for these cars) While we
had the newer engine on the stand, we had all
the bearings checked and cleaned, plus installed
a new head gasket, sensors, and other gaskets,
including the main seal. I kept, and still have all
of the other good parts in storage from the old
drivetrain Including a spare turbo,( they come
with the sale ) The car also has a anti sludge
kit that we installed. This car was built by
Master Saab. Tech Mike Grieco from Boonton
NJ. Here in Florida, the car has been repaired
and serviced by Saab Services in Lake Worth by
Master Saab Tech. Jerry. You are more than
welcomed to speak to them. I can share the
contact information.
Mike also tuned the computer with a custom
stage 1 tuning. It was benched. ( not a cheap
Honda KID plug in ) The factory tuning sits in
the Bios of the computer. The stage one tuning
only works when you depress the sport mode.
I would say its putting out almost 300Hp. ( I
do not beat on the car )
Suspension is by SACHS. Had the car lowered
by 1.5 inches for handling. Springs are by
Vogtland. Front and rear upgraded stabilizers and
over steer bracket are by Talliaferro Saab.
The tune only operates when the sport mode is
depressed.
Upgraded crossed drilled rotor’s and calipers by
Brake Stop. Tires don’t have more than 5K miles
on them.
I had the car repainted last year due to fading
of the clear coat. No bodywork was done. NO
RUST.
Recent work. ( Last 6 months )
Engine coil assembly cassette.
Fuel Pump
New front turn signal assemblies.
Neutral safety transmission switch.
Upgraded intercooler by DO88- Too hot down
here in Florida.
No tears in the interior, just some stitching
that has separated.
Needs.
Left rear window needs repair; it does come up
with help.
One of the lines in the top is leaking, can get
the top to cycle if I fill it with hydraulic
fluid.
Small crack on the front bumper cover that I
cracked parking at a mall. The car sits low to
the ground.
Other than that she runs and looks great. I am
losing a ton of money here. I will be getting a
commuter vehicle from work soon, and only
have 2 parking spaces, and own a Jeep as well. I
moved from a 2200 Sq. Ft. home with a 2 car
garage, to condo living here in Florida. I tried to
cover the car with a $200 car cover that I
bought, but HOA here said it was a wind
hazard..( go figure ) the cover comes with the
sale.
Thanks.
