5.3L **Engine needs replacement** It developed a leaking head gasket on driver side this summer which has turned into rod knock/or lower engine noise.
I have owned it a long time and have kept up with repairs well over the years. Yes it needs an engine swap out but for the right person who can do that with a used engine the vehicle should be a decent low cost vehicle to get around in – a used 5.3L from salvage yards, ebay, etc, are dime a dozen out there. Vehicle actually rides great down the highway nice and smooth (aside from the engine issue now)
RECENT SERVICES:
4 newer tires – less than 5k miles on them. July 2022
4 new brakes, rotors and system bleed. July 2022
4 new shocks all the way around. July 2022
2 new front wheel hubs. July 2022
2 new front headlight lens’ July 2022
Front and rear driveshaft U-joints replaced. July 2022
New starter August 2021
Transmission replaced with a remanufactured crate unit from Advanced Auto Parts in 2019. I estimate it has less than 50K miles on it. New trans cooler added at this time. It has been fluid serviced 3 times since its been installed.
FEATURES:
Front & Rear A/C works.
All windows work.
All door locks work except R/R door lock inoperative with automatic – does lock manually.
Drivers seat track electronics work.
New OEM factory radio replaced & JBL door speakers replaced in May 2023.
Comes with Rockford Fosgate 10″ sub as well. All steering wheel controls work with radio as designed.
Exterior paint is decent.
Interior cloth is fair up front/very decent in rear seats.
4 very nice factory aluminum wheels.
Clean clear title in hand. Feel free to inquire about it or come see it. Iv owned it since 2012 and will be transparent about it for your questions. It does run and can drive for test drive but obviously that would be risky with the engine noise.
