The Hummer H3 is a compact SUV that was produced by General Motors under the Hummer brand from 2005 to 2010. It was marketed as a more affordable and fuel-efficient version of the larger Hummer H2 SUV. The H3 was based on the GMT355 platform shared with the Chevy Colorado and Canyon pickup trucks, and it was available with a variety of engines, including a 3.5-liter five-cylinder engine and a 5.3-liter V8 engine. The H3 was offered with four-wheel drive and a range of off-road features, including skid plates, locking differentials, and hill descent control. Some of its competitors during its production include the Wrangler, Jeep Liberty, FJ Cruiser, and Xterra. The H3 was discontinued in 2010 as it was not as popular as its larger siblings, the H1 and H2. The average MSRP on an H3 in its final year, 2010, was $38,375.
