My goal has always been to drive a car into the ground and I had every intention of doing so with this one but my Dad generously offered to upgrade me when he got a new truck.
There’s only been two owners to this vehicle – him and I – and it’s been very reliable transportation ever since he handed it down to me about a decade ago. It’s been well cared for and maintained.
It’s also 15 years old though so it isn’t perfect of course and in full disclosure, does have one current issue. Somewhere in about the last 6 months, it intermittently would be slow to turn over. I have since changed the battery and took it in for a tune up where spark plugs, fuel filter, etc were replaced but they weren’t able to root cause it (due to its intermittency) so at that point, I said the heck with it I wasn’t going to dump more money into some phantom issue, figured I’d just wait it out.
Outside of that, she is a beaut and definitely will be sad to see her go because she’s been quite good to me.
