Up for sale is my 2008 Mazda RX-8. This car has been my daily driver for almost 4 years. Only maintained by myself and Pettit Racing. No hot or cold start issues. Reliable daily RX-8. Oil changed every 3,000 miles, premixed 1oz per gallon the whole time I’ve had it. 210,956 on the body should be about 80,000 miles on this motor.
Upgrades or replacements:
BHR no cat midpipe (stock exhaust back) – receipt
Both window motors changed
Clutch, master, slave replaced
Fuel pump replaced – receipt
New A/C compressor – receipt
Pettit Trak Pro Coilovers – receipt
Aluminum radiator – receipt
New radiator fans – receipt
Fresh used seats (just installed)
Brand new battery
Pettit short shifter included (not installed – needs bushings)
Tuned by VersaTune (Modified AFRs and VDI settings provide horsepower and torque gains across the entire power band. Slightly increased metering oil pump output for increased longevity. Lowered where fans come on to keep it cool (190 instead of 207). Raised idle to 880 for the oil pump. Redline now 9,700. Rev limited to 5,000 RPM until car reaches 160 degrees. Can make any changes, return to stock, etc., if you like.

Cons:
Paint clear coat is rough. Some dings and whatnot from 210,000 miles of use.
