Car was in a hit and run accident that I didn’t have insurance coverage for (My policy was lacking collision coverage). Car still has clean title. Passenger side of the car took all the damage as I hydroplaned into guardrail on that side. The differential of the car is the part of the car that is definitely damaged. I suspect the suspension received some damage as well. Those are the only parts of the car are damaged besides all the passenger side body frame. The car runs and I drove it back to Miami from Fort Myers, where the accident happened. This car can be saved but repairs will be costly. It may be worth it as the car has just over 39K miles and plenty of life left. I believe you will get better value selling this for parts however. I plan to do this with my uncle that works as a mechanic if I cannot find a buyer for the price I want. I will post a picture of all the items you could sell from this car to make a profit.
The car runs but steering wheel has to be kept at about 45° angle for the car to go straight as the suspension is damaged. The passenger tires also don’t have much clearance at the moment and can have some friction depending on how you turn. The car lights that are currently on and relevant to the accident are the “VDC off”, “Traction Control”, and the airbag light. The airbags that deployed were from the passenger side seat and roof. The car also has “low tire pressure” and “low washer fluid light” but these were present before the accident. I had low tire pressure about a month ago, put air in my tires but the light never went away. If the washer fluid is not topped off or near it, the light will come on. Hood and Trunk Lid still open, passenger side door opens from inside only.
Asking price for this car is 5.2K, I am willing to negotiate A BIT but will not entertain low offers. As I said before, this car has a lot of value that can be extracted from it. I believe someone could get between $7-8K if everything of value is sold. But this car can also be fixed if someone desires to do so. I have done my best to be as detailed as I can. I will answer any questions from serious inquirers and you are welcome to view the car/test drive in person with no pressure to buy. Number is posted.
