everything listed above at roughly the same time from 2003 to 2005. I have only driven the car locally on occasion. I estimate far less than 5,000 miles on the car since it was entirely rebuilt.
The suspension is absolutely amazing and the car has more torque than I ever imagined. I originally planned to install a roots style blower (Kenne Bell) but I am very satisfied with the power this combination makes without it. With low accessory drag on the motor, it rev’s to power easily and feels like a much bigger motor. No power is wasted spinning a water pump, fan, A/C condenser, or smog equipment. I have not put it on the dyno but, I estimate it at about 400hp. Passengers have said it feels like a 500hp car. I credit the suspension, gearing and low parasitic drag on the motor.
Maximum Motorsports is the leader in Mustang suspension modification. This car handles so much better than a stock Fox Mustang. It has minimal lift when accelerating and minimal brake dive. All energy is transferred to the wheels. The car squats in turns and gets lower at higher speeds. I designed this car for low-mid range power to pull effortlessly out of turns and climb hills. It does all of that and more. I hoped to one day auto cross but I never finished it. My priorities have shifted and I decided it is time to let go. It is fast and loud and you will smell like exhaust after driving it but, you will have a 3 day grin. It is a sleeper. Paint the hood and it will disappear in traffic. I basically stopped working on it in 2005
Fusible link – one has burn and has a temp repair
The ignition switch recall for all Fords of this era wasn’t done. Parts are included.
Parking brake – parts required by the disc conversion are included
Reverse light connection at T-56 (and optional lock out solenoid)
Rear brake line mounting brackets – flex hose is attached to a currently floating bracket from a SN-95 (you can mount it or remove it)
Engine gauges (only the Tachometer [with shift light] is connected)
Seat belt shoulder mounts, the cage interferes with the stock shoulder mount location. Either weld an additional tab to the cage or install the included 5-point harness belts.
The fiberglass Cervinni trunk lid is new, in storage and never drilled for installation.
There is an additional lower K-member support bar that needs a thread repair
The BBK in-line fuel pump mount bracket is broken loose. It works but should be addressed.
The factory radio stopped working and was removed. I am including an adapter “DIN” to install an aftermarket radio.
There is a small oil leak from the oil pan gasket.
There is a leaking axle seal on the left side.
There is rust at; the lower rear quarter on the left side, the rear bumper support, also a little on the trunk floor and blistering in the paint in other areas (see pics)
There are a few minor dings in the right front fender. Seller’s notes
I’ve done my best to depict the condition of the car. I will not negotiate after an accepted bid. I will do my best to answer
I can deliver up to 150 miles for a separate and additional non refundable charge of $600
Do not come on a holiday, Sunday, or in the evening when the bank is closed. No BIT COIN, personal checks, foreign currency, dreams or promises.
Please take your time to read through the entire ad as I took my time to list everything I know about the vehicle.
Up for sale is a 1993 Reef Blue Mustang LX 331 Stroker Vortech Supercharged. Original V8 car. Has a 140MPH cluster with 131,939 miles clocked on the body. The motor was just rebuilt at Bessette Motor Works in Charlton, MA and has under 100 miles on the rebuild. I would recommend breaking it in, changing the oil, and getting a re-tune to dial it in 100%. The ECU was rebuilt and has a tuned chip in it already. The car is currently tuned for 93 Octane.
The engine is a 331 stroker with Edelbrock Victor Jr heads. I sourced a stock 90s roller block, had it gone through, heads gone through, new valve springs, retainers/locks, new DSS racing pistons, new DSS forged rods, DSS main stud girdle, new oil pump, rear main seal, all new gaskets (MLS head gaskets, intake gaskets, water pump gasket, oil pan gasket, etc.), new ford performance pilot bearing, cam motion camshaft, Harland sharp rocker arms, Pro-M MAF. Has a TKO 5 speed transmission and upgraded clutch. Headlights, directionals, brake lights, and horn all work.
Has a tubular K Member (painted in reef blue), adjustable lower control arms, weld forge rts drag wheels, (2) 165/80/15
Several aftermarket gauges in the car, gauge pillar pod, and a couple on the cowl panel. Radio is a dual single din w/ 73eq clarion equalizer which works. Has an aftermarket cowl hood. BBK subframe connectors, MSD 6AL-2, MSD street fighter distributor, Ford Racing spark plug wires, oil catch can, 7qt oil pan, electric fans, aftermarket radiator, caster camber plates, Kenne bell boost a pump. The exhaust is setup with BBK shorty headers, catless X Pipe, and flowmaster catback. Has a trickflow rear end girdle, 8.8 rear end with 373 gears, aluminum driveshaft. Has Tokico blue front struts, front drilled and slotted rotors, and Eibach lowering springs. Painted the rear drums and front calipers with high temp black paint.
Some more new parts I have recently done include: new 3-piece headlights, new power master alternator, new gas tank (1999 mustang style) which is running (2) 255lph Walbro fuel pumps, new fuel filter, new spark plugs, new MSD coil, new starter solenoid, new rear hatch struts.
