Body Style: Town Victoria 4-Door Hardtop Sport Roof Fastback. Originally a Rust-free Southern California car.
– Prior to restoration, there was no evidence of ever being in an accident and all body panels were original with no filler
– Mileage is estimated at 96,000 original miles (odometer quit at 92,001 in 2019)
– Engine is the original Ford 390 4V Thunderbird FE V-8 with original block & heads, dual exhaust, 300hp, 425ft-lb,
runs very smoothly with no smoke
– Transmission: In Nov 2022 the original FMX 3-Speed Auto underwent a $3,300 rebuild, now has less than 200 miles

JUST EXACTLY HOW RARE IS IT?
Most car folks, even Ford fans, either have forgotten that Ford made full-size hardtop sport roof four doors in the early 1960s. Post-less cars like this one are now extremely scarce, so much so that most people, even those over 55 years of age say” I have never seen one of those before”. If you find this level of rarity hard to believe, I respectfully encourage you to do a search and see if you can find even three or four of any condition in the entire country. To the best of my knowledge and as supported by classic car experts, this Galaxie 500XL Town Victoria 4-Door Hardtop Sport Roof is an extremely rare model and this car appears to be the finest on the US market. Additionally, it is a big-block 390 V-8, 4V car with every available trim option, like-new $4,000 wire wheels, and a fresh $3,300 transmission and should not be valued by substantially less optioned and quality cars.
HISTORY:
Built: 11/27/1964
Plant: Ford Motor Company, USA Los Angeles, CA
1964-2013: The car remained in CA (the # of owners is unknown)
2013: Exported to Canada (Vancouver, BC)
2013-2016: The car underwent a 3-year restoration. All new seals, gaskets, new aluminum radiator, new fan, water pump, T-stat,
hoses, alternator, sparkplugs, wires, distributor, coil, filters, Edelbrock 600V w/ electric choke, electric fuel pump w/
adjustable fuel pressure regulator, suspension, brakes and much, much more.
2018: Sold to a local Ford collector
May 2023: I purchased the car and imported it back into the US (Oklahoma)

factory and as a Dealer-installed option. The trim was removed and polished or re-chromed, it is exceptional and stunning.
