Selling a very rare 1939 Philco “Mystery control” radio – phonograph store display stand. The lady is about 5 feet tall and has a platform where a Philco Mystery Remote would have been placed. Philco’s Mystery control was an electronic marvel of its time. It was a wireless remote that made it possible to control nearly every function of the radio and record player from your chair. This is likely the only mystery control store display left in the world. These were tossed out when they were done using them.
Price is $150 firm. Pickup in Riverside. This is a must have piece for someone with one of these radios or remotes,and would be a conversation piece for your radio collection. It would also make a great movie or television prop or set decoration.
I had someone from the tv show “Pawn Stars” contact me wanting it for a segment of their show,but won’t drive to Vegas for that. Lol
