WPLG shared this video of an SUV that was hit by a Brightline train in Wynwood. The incident is still under investigation, but folks we ask you to be careful at the train tracks. Don’t sit on the train tracks. Don’t cross the train tracks if the crossing gates are down.
Unlike the typical trains from Florida East Coast Railways, the Brightline Trains travel at higher speeds. Either way, neither FEC trains or the faster Brightline trains can stop fast enough for a vehicle stopped at the tracks.
