Pre-orders for the futuristic EV are higher than the number of units that many truck models sell annually.
We’ve reported on the Cybertruck since we saw those almost unbelievable spy photos months ago. Now, the long-awaited arrival of the most disruptive — and totally cool — vehicle in years. Many car buyers agree. Tesla has taken an astounding 1.25 million pre-orders (and counting) for the Cybertruck. If those pre-orders hold up, Tesla would rake in around $79 billion in revenue.
With the stainless steel body, wedge profile — and up to 500 miles of electric range – 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds with fastest model – Tesla has changed the landscape of auto EV design and performance with their Cyberturck. Three models have been announced, with EPA range estimates of 250–500 miles and an estimated 0–62 mph time of 2.9–6.5 seconds, depending on the model.
