This 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 coupe is one of approximately 3,300 examples produced between 1969 and 1971 and was cosmetically refurbished approximately 20 years ago. only one repaint finished in its original color, gray and an overhauled interior. The car is powered by a 3.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes 14″ steel wheels with painted covers, disc brakes, Bosch Jetronic fuel injection, this is a US-specification 3.5 model so it has the most desirable headlights, a “low-style” grille, front seat headrests, power windows, and a Becker Europa II AM/FM stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. This W111 coupe is now offered here for sale with a clean Florida title in my name.
When the car was restored, there were no expense spared. It was done right the condition is next to concourse.
The 14″ steel wheels feature covers with color-matched centers and are mounted with 195/75 Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP II white-stripe tires. The suspension includes an independent double-wishbone front setup with coil springs along with a rear single-joint swing axle. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted disc brakes at each corner. You will be amazed by all the original OEM parts that still remains on this car
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in tan, leather, not that cheap stuff, and wood trim accents the dash and A-pillars. Amenities include front seat headrests, three-point seat belts for the front occupants, power windows, and a dashboard-mounted clock. the Becker Europa II AM/FM stereo features Bluetooth connectivity, and the air conditioning currently turns on and blows compressor clicks on as well, but doesn’t blow quite cold enough A/C will need to be serviced.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 88k miles, and yes, this is the correct and original mileage
The 3.5-liter M116 V8 is original and matching to the car features Bosch Jetronic fuel injection and was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 211 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. and it runs like a dream. No mechanical problems at all. No smoke no knocking. No funny noises from engine or gearbox the car has always been garage lighters and ashtrays never used never smoked in very well-maintained and cared for all of its life. I have all books, manuals, and service record history along with its original owners manual that will go along with the sale.

She is definitely a real head turner. these cars are getting very hard to find in shape like this, especially with the right options and colors. in my opinion, I would not have a 3.5 coupe and any other color combinations. The colors complement the car so well simply a work of art a car that is just absolutely gorgeous timeless and classy Mercedes couldn’t have said it any better Mercedes there slogan, the best or nothing.Don’t lose the opportunity to own this beauty. You won’t regret it they will only continue to go up in value
