The Volvo XC70 is a mid-size luxury crossover wagon that was manufactured and marketed by Volvo Cars from 1997 to 2016. It was based on the V70 wagon and was designed to offer a high level of safety, comfort, and versatility. The XC70 was known for its rugged and durable design, which included high ground clearance, protective body cladding, and all-wheel drive. It was also equipped with a range of safety features, including side-curtain airbags, stability control, and Volvo’s patented WHIPS (Whiplash Protection System).
