This 1994 Impala SS has spent much of the time indoors and in storage. The car is a true survivor unmolested with 46,167 original miles. I purchased the Car when it had 38,251 miles, and have owned it for 8 years. The Car has been serviced and in perfect running condition, has newly replaced AC Compressor , water pump, brakes, shocks, BMR front are rear sway bars. I also swapped the gray/silver carpet for a deep black carpeting, that makes the interior just perfect. Finished in black over gray leather, the car is powered by a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, power-adjustable front seats, a CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. Polished 17″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Hankook Ventus ST tires that were recently installed. The Impala SS was fitted with heavy-duty dampers, 12.1″ disc brakes, and a 1″ lower sport-tuned suspension when compared with the contemporary Caprice.
The cabin features power-adjustable front sport seats upholstered in Gray leather with “SS” embroidered headrests joined by a color-coordinated center console, dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a CD stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt steering wheel, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks . The leather-wrapped two-spoke steering wheel frames a digital gauge cluster with readouts for oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 15k miles.
The 5.7-liter LT1 V8 features sequential fuel injection and was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque in SS trim. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Corrosion is evident on the underbody.
