Arrested: Alleged Auto Arsonist Caught

Anthony Gregory was arrested by Police for the arson attack at the Magic City Auto dealership located in Little Havana’s Calle Ocho that occurred on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.  Gregory was charged as follows:

• Criminal Mischief of $1,000 or more
• 4 counts of 1st degree arson
• Possession of cocaine
• Possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use

Gregory is currently being held at TGK (Turner Guilford Knight) Correctional Center just west of the airport.

As you know, video captured the moment 3 cars were set ablaze at the Magic City Auto dealership located at 3160 SW 8th Street in Little Havana, Miami.

According to the reports, the incident was reported to the 911 call center at approximately 5:30am on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, by a passerby.

The City of Miami Police Department is the lead investigating unit.  According to the reports, the City of Miami say they know who the culprit is and are looking for him.  The Police have yet to share the identity of the culprit.  The police say the suspect is constantly getting into trouble.

Fortunately, the fire did not spread to the dozens of other vehicles located on the lot and no one was hurt. The manager estimated about $60,000 in total damage.
