Top Five Cars for Single Men in Miami

If you want to get noticed, you gotta’ have a nice ride. In a recent, highly unscientific survey of Gables and Brickell singles, we found some consistent favorites in the Affordable price range, around $45 – $60K. So what are the most popular car for sing le in th is category?

#5 DODGE CHALLENGER

The ‘bad boy’ appeal is universal, and no car smells more like a bad dude than the Dodge Challenger. For single men who work out regularly, maybe have a tattoo and park th ier Challengers in the garage of a really nice condo in the Grove. Yup, it’s a sex symbol, with a huge, throbbing engine. Get the Hellcat if you really want to score big.

#4 FORD F-150 PICKUP

There’s a certain feeling of freedom when driving a pickup. And no pickup has the attraction factor of the Ford F-150. Freaking cowboys used to drive the F-150. Lean, rugged Miami cowboys. And you can throw a bunch of stuff in the bed and drive it around.  (Not one muscle car on this list can tow a boat for you and the ladies to enjoy out on Biscayne Bay!) You’re above ground level so you can spy on people at stop lights and the front grill is bold and beautiful. Cars are great, but a Ford F-150 can take you on an adventure. “Throw your stuff in the back and let’s go to the freakin’ Keys!” Now all-aluminum and even more attractive!

#3 CHEVROLET CAMARO

People love Camaros because the car reminds them of high school.  The coolest kid would have one. Lemon yellow. Racy and fun, the original Pony Car Competitor — Miami is in love with the Camaro. And even with it’s popularity, there’s something special about the driver of a Camaro … slightly reckless, lots of pent-up testosterone.

And then there’s the Mustang. Driven by lawyers, doctors, Viet Nam vets, women on vacation — everybody feels like hot sh it in a Mustang, Miami’s fleet of Mustangs are gorgeous, Mustang drivers are always on the prowl in Wynwood, South Beach and the Grove. Drive it slow so we can take a good look at you!

#1 CHEVROLET CORVETTE

Yup. Ju st barely sq uea king into the “affordable” category is the legendary Chevrolet Corvette. Driving a Corvette in Miami immediately en lists you in a very special club. An American racer, untamed for the street and owned by every sports hero, movie star, music legend and Chevy fan in the world. Bottom line: you get a lot of attention when you drive a Corvette.
