Ty Majeski wins The 2022 Baptist Health 200 at Homestead and advances to the long awaited Championship 4 at Phoenix with Chandler Smith, Zane Smith, and Ben Rhodes following close by.
Majeski showed great promise, focus and momentum to claim the victory last Saturday. He has never won a race before this season. The 26th Annual Baptist Health 200 win marks as his second victory in 42 Camping World Truck Series races.
Majeski finished with a stellar 4.524 seconds ahead of The regular season’s champion Zane Smith, setting the stage for his appearance in the Championship rounds.
The rest of the competitors fought hard to stay in the race but not all were lucky. Unfortunately for Stewart Friesen, even after finishing at third, the great effort just proved not to be enough to secure a spot in making the Championship 4.
Such a heartbreak it is to miss the Championship spot by just 1 point!
The upset was brought to you by the sharp 25-year-old reigning series champ Ben Rhodes in his No. 99 Toyota Tundra for ThorSport Racing as he got the 6th place to clinch the final spot for the Championship at Phoenix.
