Miami's First Ethanol Fuel Pump Now Open
October 13, 2007
Home grown Ethanol Fuel is now available in South Florida. While only a fraction of South Florida's vehicles are capable of using E85 (85% Ethanol) Fuel, there are literally thousands of vehicles now capable of accepting this fuel.
What makes E85 Ethanol fuel special?i
Well, right now, E85 is cheaper. I've been filling my F-150 with E85 for two weeks for just $2.59 per gallon. Not cheap, but still cheaper than $2.85 for regular.
More importantly, 85 percent of the fuel comes from corn. Yep...made in the USA. That means I'm funding farmers not terrorists when I use E85. Great for me, great for the economy, great for America, and even great for the environment.
So, where can you find E85 in Miami?
Easy. It's right across the Mall of the Americas on NW 79th Avenue. One block north of Flagler at the U-GAS Auto Station run by Urbieta Oil. The address is 210 NW 79 Ave. For more information, contact the U-GAS at 305.269.7006.
